Since 2013, I have spent several years studying, working and living in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Pakistan and India. For me as an artist, both the individual exchange on site and the interweaving of the associated global, socio-cultural, humanitarian and political aspects form the basis of my work. Globalization and labour, production and conditions, emancipation and empowerment are the main themes of this transcultural journey. My artistic practise is an exchange between foreign and my own world of work and its environments. My previous work process dealing with patterns and structures has led me to signs and codes and thus to vestimentary communication. Following an interdisciplinary approach, I work with photography, video, sound and text as well as various printing techniques.
